On this episode, we sit down with the dynamic duo of our local Economic Development Commission — Aaron Backman & Sarah Swedburg. Aaron has been the Executive Director of the Kandiyohi County & City of Willmar EDC for the last 5 years. Sarah recently became the Business Development Manager after working for the City of Willmar as a planner for the last few years. Both have an incredible passion for developing and supporting local businesses of all types - AND for making our county an even better place to live, work and play. We were happy to find some time to dive a little bit deeper into the work of the EDC and help spread the word about the wide variety of things they’ve been busy with over the last atypical year!
